My girlfriend and I picked up this tent at a local Academy store but since there are virtually no reviews on it, I'm doing a review for it here on Amazon (it's the exact same tent so don't worry). This tent rocks! I had been searching for a tent for the two of us + our medium-size dog but most of the sub-$150 tents we looked at (online as well as in stores) did not have a proper rainfly (*cough*Coleman*cough*). Having previously bought a larger (6-person) Coleman tent, we had made the mistake then of underestimating the usefulness of a good rainfly---one that COMPLETELY covers the tent without exposing any of the mesh windows to rain (if you want an example of an IMPROPER rainfly, take a look at the Coleman Sundome tent and you'll see how the rainfly leaves much of the mesh window exposed...and yes...that WILL become a problem in the rain.Okay, rainfly aside, this tent offers so much more. It's very easy to setup and offers a bathtub lining design (typical for any good tent). It's not the fastest setup for a tent but that doesn't really matter too much (unless you find yourself trying to set up your tent in the rain but you'll pay a lot more for a tent that addresses that particular need). This tent offers a side area that you can use for storing your gear (instead of leaving it outside or in your car). It's all one big tent without any dividers, though, so you can use it's "rectangle-alongside-a-square" dimensions how you see fit (which works perfect for us to give our dog his own area to sleep next to us. While this tent does not come with a footprint tarp (to protect the floor lining from damage over repeated use), a simple 12x9 heavy duty tarp acts as a near-perfect substitute and I highly recommend you buy one at a local Wal-mart to go with this tent.It will easily sleep 3 people (+ dog) and you might even be able to cram 4 smaller people in (although 3 would sleep side-by-side and the 4th would have to sleep perpendicular to everyone else's feet or heads...I wouldn't recommend it if you like ample space). It also has 2 spacious mesh pockets on opposite corners as well as 2 detachable cup holders that hang in the same corners (very useful). Finally, it comes with a detachable mesh shelf that hangs at the very top of the tent (and you can use the hooks there to hang lights, too). There is also a cable opening allowing you to pass them through and into the tent. Without the rainfly in place, there are 2 very large mesh openings (they do not close) that you can use to get plenty of fresh air and even watch stars as you lay down (one is over the side storage area and the other is on the opposite wall from there. There is only 1 entrance door (which also has a second zippered set for its own mesh window) while the wall opposite it has a huge zippered mesh window.About the only drawback is that I wish it had 2 entrances instead of 1 (turning the zippered mesh window into a door) and I wish the mesh openings (above the side storage area and the opposite wall) also were able to be zippered close but with the rainfly in place, it's really not an issue at all.The last thing I will say is that you can stand up in the tent in the center if you're under 6'. This is a nice feature if it's raining outside and you're restless or want to stretch your legs a bit. This was actually something I was a little worried about (I hate the idea of not being able to stand in a tent) but this tent does not have that problem. All in all, it's a wonderful tent and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious tent with some nice amenities (all the storage options and accessories). They pretty much thought of just about everything with this tent.
