Product Description
Looking for a family camping tent that is more than just the basic box shape with a rainfly? Do you need a tent that allows you to power your modern conveniences without having to leave the door open for bugs and weather to come in? Look no further than the Wenzel Montreaux then, it has everything you need and more. The Montreaux has two side rooms with divider curtains for extra storage and a sewn-in room divider that creates two distinct living areas. The E-Port allows you to run electrical cords into the tent, allowing you to power all of your electronic devices, so that you don't have them coming through the door--removing tripping hazards. Set up is easy with the pin and ring system and plastic eve hubs. Once set up, ventilation won't be an issue with the full mesh ceiling and side and rear windows. Water-resistant, sonic welded polyethylene floor and factory taped fly seams keeps the weather out and you dry and comfortable inside. Also, the truncated corners give the tent added stability in adverse weather conditions.

By me
This tent is a good tent, and i'm happy with it. the reason i have only given it 3 stars is because it could have been much better with very little added.I would guess this is the exact same as the Swiss Gear tent of the same name, with different colors, which means Wenzel paid for the use of the design. In my opinion that transaction should have included rights to fix the things that people disliked about the original, and those modifications should have been made: -1 starsince they didn't bother to fix the problems, it loses its second star for lacking all the small things cheaper tents have that make them more convenient.- there aren't any ties for the windows, just a pouch thing they are meant to be stuffed in, this means wind bows them since there is no tie at the top, and they fall out of the pouch without the one at the bottom.- i personally don't like the door's zipper configuration, this door is made up of 2 zippers, one at the base and one that does the top, i much prefer the full door dual zipper configuration so i can put the zippers wherever i want, for whatever reason.-This tent does not come with "quick-clips" for the sides, so the walls move around more than on a tent with them.-the above quick clip issue could be solved by adding more guy-wires, which i feel the tent needs anyways. it only has 4, and they aren't enough to keep the fly tout like it should be, IMO.- there should be at least one stakeout point added to the back of the tent.- i wish the eave-hubs were attached to the tent, i'm bound to lose one someday...all these things fixed would have added no more than $10, maybe 15 to the production cost, and so it annoys me.the above aside, the tent really isn't too bad for the money, it fit my need for a loooot of space and ability to stand. Again, good tent- but needs some design tweaks. (maybe add a bathtub floor?) If you need a big tent, this will work without totally busting the bank, and most people will be happy with it. (one last warning: this will take a lot of seam-sealer to seal, i would estimate 7 tubes of seam grip)

I would give it zero stars if I could. I really loved the floor plan/layout organization and it such a bummer that it turned out to be a total piece of crap. Set it up for a test run and the first night it did fine....no wind, light rain....next night I go out in the morning and its flat. There was a mild wind but nothing that should have done that. Upon examination I find that two of the fiberglass poles shattered and ripped through the sleeves and fly. Both were broken near where they fit into the elbow bend that connects to the steel poles. What a disappointment. I have no use for a tent that doesnt stay up and its poles break so easily. Good thing I didnt let the kids camp out in it yet!

This will be our 3rd year with this tent...see our photos...Very large, we have a elevated double bed and two totes next to bed for night stands...the closets are very big...one we use for a closet and the other we use as a restroom...living room we put 2 zero gravity chairs with a tote between them and a card table.Last season we had a bad rain storm...it held up great and we stayed dry on the inside.Looking forward to summer so we can get back out in nature. We have been very pleased!!!
